For WOW!house 2024, Jennifer Manners has created the ‘Secret Garden’ rug to sit at the entrance to the showhouse. Inspired by the surreal and magical garden from Alice in Wonderland, the rug boasts reimagined oversized flowers and a cast of colourful insect characters, all set on a background of a tonal Greek key pattern.

A play on the fantastical garden in Lewis Carroll’s iconic story where Alice needed a small key to enter into a world of visual discovery, the rug hints at the journey of whimsical wonder that lies ahead, behind the doors of WOW!house itself. The rug is cut into a wavy shape, creating a meandering path that further celebrates the unexpected, and is made from Jennifer Manners’ award-winning /Re/Purpose Performance fibre, ideal for high-traffic commercial spaces
