The New Craftsmen

The New Craftsmen was established in 2012 as a platform for authentic and meaningful craft, playfully imagined and properly made by artisans of the British Isles. It recently relaunched under the stewardship of internationally renowned gallery owner Sarah Myerscough as CEO and Kathy Lacour as managing director.

At Artefact 2023 it will present its signature Crafted Collections alongside a collection of new works for London Craft Week. Crafted Collections showcases key makers and exclusive collaborative works including Matthew Raw’s Welcome collection and Gareth Neal and Aimee Bett’s Stitched collection. Other makers on show include lighting by Alexandra Robinson and Rich Miller and artworks by Catarina Riccabona, Jane Ponsford and Jochen Holz.
