Architect Simon Mitchell, co-founder of Sybarite, restaurant designer Afroditi Krassa, founder of AfroditiKrassa, and architect Fiona McLean, principal of McLean Quinlan, explore how spaces have to multi-task and be multi-functional while still being designed for a purpose. Today we shop online and get takeaways at home; shops have become galleries and restaurants; and restaurants have become galleries, shops and homes from homes. So are there any boundaries between art, architecture, product and retail? Or do today’s designers have to deal with an elasticity of scale and be prepared to design anything from a perfume bottle to a skyscraper?  Chaired by Sarah Miller, founding editor of Condé Nast Traveller and CEO of Sarah Miller and Partners.
