At Rubelli, Rubelli Venezia’s design studio director Alberto Pezzato will be paying a visit to unveil its new collection, tracing the story of its evolution and the marriage of tradition and innovation. Victoria + Albert Baths is hosting interior designers Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead of 2LG: tap into their distinctive style and find out how they transformed the showroom’s windows. Designer Close-Ups

Meet world-class designers and go behind the scenes to find out their inspirations and thought processes. Renowned French designer Jean-Louis Deniot will be at Marc De Berny to discuss his Sparkx collection and sign copies of his book; Lizzo invites Jessica Naveira and Shauna Dennison to talk through new launches, including Pepe Peñalver’s exotic Beyul collection; while Altfield will welcome a new member of its design family, James Malone, founder of the exciting textile and wallpaper company of the same name. At Fox Linton, meet hugely experienced in-house designer Kathleen Butler to discover luxurious new collections of leather and wool.

Art Meets Interiors

With the line between design and art becoming ever-more blurred, it’s no wonder that so many events have an artistic theme. At Savoir Beds, Judith Mather from The National Gallery and Andrew Martin’s David Harris talk about the role of art in design. Head to de Le Cuona to discover how founder Bernie de Le Cuona was inspired by the Old Masters for her new Artist Canvas linen collection. If you want to get hands-on, Artisans of Devizes is holding a tile-painting workshop – your endeavours will be sent away to be cured and glazed, then returned to you as a miniature work of art. Many regard passementerie as a discipline where art and craft intersect, and at Jason D’Souza you can watch a true artisan demonstrate how tassels and tiebacks are made.

Artisans in Residence

Admire some of the skills behind the products with a series of talks and demonstrations with talented makers. At Black & Key, glassblower Adam Aaronson and artist Fintan Whelan will be on hand to explain the mastery behind their work, while new showroom Perrin & Rowe will have their designers at work as well as offering visitors the chance to get hands-on and build a tap. Need to cool off? In celebration of Chase Erwin’s Polar Light collection, the showroom is hosting an Arctic ice-carving session, with a signature cocktail served alongside.
