EXPERIENCE TEA WITH JING

Sunday 17 September, 4:30pm. Sensory Salon, Third Floor, Design Centre East

Join an expert masterclass with Jing, tea partner of choice to more than 80 Michelin-starred restaurants. Focusing on three authentic Chinese teas – a white, a green and an oolong tea – experience a tasting that is as delicious as it is uplifting. With China considered the true home of tea, learn how mastery, provenance and ancient ceremony is translated for today.

 

COOKING DEMONSTRATON WITH TOM’S KITCHEN’S AWARD-WINNING CHEF TOM AIKENS

Monday 18 September, 3pm. Espresso Design, Second Floor, Design Centre East

Join award-winning chef Tom Aikens and Tom’s Kitchen’s executive chef Richard O’Connell to watch a live cookery demonstration and take part in a Q&A with Tom himself. Tom and Richard will take to the hobs to showcase the finest cookery techniques and produce, focusing on items that will also feature on the menu at Tom’s Kitchen at the Tatler Restaurant.

COFFEE MASTERCLASS WITH VAGABOND COFFEE ROASTERS

‘Coffee cupping’ is like wine tasting – and there are just as many tastes and aromas to explore. Let the experts guide you through a selection of coffees to discover their different flavours and characteristics. Find out how specialty green beans from around the world, carefully selected by these passionate North London roasters, make it to your cup at home or in their coffee shops.

THE ART OF FLORAL DESIGN WITH TONY MARKLEW

Join floral design and event imagineer Tony Marklew for a unique floral demonstration that will delight all the senses. Known for his natural, abundant style, he designs breathtaking installations for events, weddings, parties and product launches worldwide.
